Full day tour included trip around the Lake Ohrid and visit another side of Lake Ohrid in Albania. We will drive along the coast of Lake Ohrid. Firstly we will visit the ‘Bay of Bones’ Neolithic on water settlement, road continue to monastery complex Saint Naum 1 km from the Albanian border. During today journey you will have opportunity to visit Pogradec (town located on the coast of the Ohrid lake) which until today has big scares of the communistic regime of the famous Albanian president Enver Hogja.

The tour included trip around the Lake Ohrid and visit another side of Lake Ohrid in Albania. Albania was closed country during the regime of Enver Hoxha and nowadays is rapidly developing. Firstly we will visit the ‘Bay of Bones’ Neolithic on water settlement and chance to have illustrative returning in a life 1200 years BC. The surrounding settlements were also cities made on platforms, which stood on wooden piles stuck at the bottom of the lake. On those pile-up platforms stood the houses of the prehistoric people, who with a flexible bridge were linked to the shore. The inhabitants of these settlements dealt mostly with fishing, agriculture, and hunting. This is indicated by the various vessels and items of ceramics and stone found both in the land and underwater.
Road continue to monastery complex Saint Naum 1 km from the Albanian border. St. Naum is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Ohrid. The monastic complex and the church of St. Naum was originally built at the turn of the 10th century by the monk that was born with the same name; Macedonians believe you can still hear the heart's heartbeat by pressing an ear to his stone coffin inside the church.
We will cross the Macedonia Albania border. Driving through the little village Tushemishte where Enver Hoga had his summer house. During today journey you will have opportunity to visit Pogradec (town located on the coast of the Ohrid lake) which until today has big scares of the communistic regime of the famous Albanian president Enver Hogja. Lot of mixes of old and new buildings symbolizing the development of Albania but in some strange and different way. By the lakeside you will find an array of restaurants, clubs, and comfortable hotels. You must not miss a taste of the traditional fish dishes, especially the baked speckled trout (Koran in Albanian), as well as the famous pickles. You might also sample the various wines on offer, but don’t miss the traditional unique wine of Buti, or the famous Perla and Moskat raki of Pogradec. Continue toward Lin, driving on the west side of the lake. Return back to Macedonia. We will make stop in Struga – the second largest city on the shores of Lake Ohrid. What gives Struga it’s recognizable the River Black Drim flows out of Lake Ohrid. Return in accommodation in Ohrid.
