Sightseeing tour of the city. The tour starts from the Citadel, from where you have an excellent panoramic view of the city center, followed by a visit to “Mustafa Pasha“ Mosque from the 15th century, and entering the second largest Turkish bazaar on the Balkan. The tour continues to the central city square, where the dominant site is Alexander the Great fountain. Walk through Macedonia Street, towards the old Railway Station, a witness of the 1963 earthquake. Visit Millennium Cross Dinner. Later visit canyon Matka where with boat trip you will visit Cave Vrelo. Hotel Overnight.
After the breakfast, we leave for Ohrid. First is Tetovo, where we will visit the unique Painted Mosque from the 15th century, and Arabati Baba Tekke. Tour continues to Ohrid with stop in National Park Mavrovo, visit magnificent St. Bigorski Monastery. Option for lunch in ethno restaurant in Vevchani and visit Vevchani spring. Continue to Ohrid. Arrival in hotel. Hotel Overnight.
After breakfast – Ohrid City tour – visit the old part of Ohrid – St. Sofia, the ancient theater, upper gate, archeological place Plaoshnik, Samoil’s fortress, magnificent St. Kaneo, drive with catamarans, after that visit St. Naum complex, – enjoying in the view to the national park Galichica and the Bay of Bones – “museum on the water” in Gradishte. Visit the spring area of the river “Crn Drim” ; short boat tour thru the springs. Overnight in Ohrid..
After breakfast heading to the city of Tirana, the capital of Albania. Arrival in Tirana and check in at the hotel, followed by a half day sightseeing of the city and visit of the biggest attractions, like Skanderbeg Square, Skanderbeg Statue, “Ethem Bey“ Mosque, The Clock Tower. After that, we head to Budva with stop in Shkoder city and little break and city explore. Arrival in Budva. Hotel overnight.
Breakfast, sightseeing of the city of Budva with the Venetian influenced remains that are dominant among the architectural influences. Afterwards, we drive on way to Mostar with stop in Blagaj – this heaven of peace and natural harmony, is located only three kilometers from the Mostar airport. Due to the proximity of the Adriatic sea (around 45km) and its low level above sea, the climate is Mediterranean with very long and hot summers.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and have a Mostar city tour. You will find out more about the city’s fascinating and long history. We will visit the Old Town, the famous UNESCO protected Old Bridge, Koski Mehmed-Pasa Mosque, Hamama and the Oriental bazaar. After little break, we head to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Half way to Sarajevo, we stop in the beautiful small town of Konjic on the river Neretva. Short sightseeing of the town, after which we continue our way to Sarajevo. Arrival in Sarajevo. Dinner. Hotel Overnight.
Arrival and start of sightseeing tour. Visit to Bascarsija, the old town with cobbled streets, numerous mosques and oriental shops, the Latin Bridge where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place, Morića Han, the only preserved style inn in Sarajevo and much more. Free afternoon. Dinner. Hotel Overnight.
After breakfast, heading to Vishegrad, Visit Ottoman-era Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic Bridge, a UNESCO world heritage site, which was popularized by Nobel Prize winning author Ivo Andric in his novel “The Bridge on the Drina”. Continue our way in Serbia with a stop at Mokra Gora, with panoramic tourist train tour of Shargan Eight. Tour continues to Serbia`s capital and the second biggest city in the Balkans – Belgrade. Dinner. Hotel Overnight.
After breakfast, we start with the sightseeing tour: Belgrade Castle, Clock Tower, Nebojsha Tower, Mehmet Pasha Fountain, St. Sava Cathedral, Terazije Square, Usche – where Sava river meets the Danube river, Knez Mihajlova pedestrian street. Dinner. Hotel Overnight.
After breakfast, we shall make a trip to the City of Novi Sad. On our way to the second-largest city in Serbia, we shall stop at the nearby town of Sremski Karlovci, the center of Serbian culture in the 18th century. Our next stop is the second-largest fortress on the Danube River – Petrovaradin. We shall be introduced to the legends of underground passages before we continue to “Serbian Athens”, as the City of Novi Sad is known. As we stroll among great cultural institutions and historic buildings, we shall visit the oldest part of Novi Sad, the Zmaj Jovina pedestrian zone. Here, we shall be introduced to the rich history of Novi Sad as we see the monument to Svetozar Miletic, the famous Novi Sad Cathedral, the Episcopal Church… After sightseeing, enjoy your free afternoon and discover Novi Sad independently. Return to Belgrade.
